Fort Erie Race Track (Thoroughbred Horse Racing)

Home to the famous Prince of Wales Stakes, the second jewel in Canada’s Triple Crown, the Fort Erie Race Track has offered the excitement and pageantry of live thoroughbred racing for 118 years. The Race Track is one of the most picturesque tracks in North America. From late May through mid-October, admire the thoroughbreds from the stands or more intimately in the Paddock area.

Enjoy Niagara’s Friendliest Golf Course, Whisky Run Golf Club, with a scenic 27 hole course located near the shores of Lake Erie. When construction began in the 1980s, whisky bottles from the prohibition era were randomly discovered all over the property - coining the name of the future golf course.

Sugarloaf Marina in Port Colborne is only one of three in Ontario with a wakeboard system offered by Boarder Pass Canada.

Water skiing meets snowboarding, as a cable system pulls riders on wakeboards, gliding across the water around 20 miles per hour. Learning the sport is an easy feat for beginners who can move at their own pace. Skilled wakeboarders add more adventure with jumps and other obstacles.

Not only easy and affordable (head to the dock, grab hold of a handle and you're on your way), it is also fun exercise. The Triple Crown event takes place annually where around 50 boarders compete.
